I love techno. Sadly, most people do not enjoy the pure bliss that is computer generated robot noise. Our good friend, Nathan Winter (Winty), seriously hates techno. This works really well, because I dislike his music of choice: Hip-hop. Our constant arguments were depicted as a mediocre Starwars reference. The best part of this comic is the super emo Mikey in the last panel. His light saber has a serious case of erectile dysfunction.

Points to note in this comic:

1. nyst.tk was Winty's website where he displayed music he created. It has since been purchased by someone else and transformed into some sort of "safe online community" where people can talk about those stupid "Twilight" books/movies all day. It may not actually be a site about "Twilight", but I saw a picture of a vampire on the site and I have forever pigeon-holed nyst.tk as a "Twilight" fan site, which I assume will infuriate Winty to some degree.
2. Mike actually listened to lots of emo back then.
3. When I wear a dress shirt that isn't tucked in, I never do up the bottom button. Never have. Although, this has never allowed any portion of my belly/belly button area to show. That would be gross.
4. The headphones Winty is wearing look suspiciously like my Sony MDR-V700s. Best. purchase. ever.

At the time of making this comic, Nathan Winter (who has absolutely no Web presence) lived down the block from us. As a result, he was able to quality control the comic and ensure we were not immortalizing him in a complete junker-of-a-strip. I also included his Hip-Hop t-shirt, which he wore regularly.
